Against All Oddz Animal Alliance

Against All Oddz Animal Alliance Inc. is the first law based animal sanctuary for court case dogs on the east coast. We have already saved and rehabilitated more than 100 court case dogs that would have been killed. We have also saved hundreds more from other rescue organizations who have reached the end of their abilities/resources and would have otherwise euthanized the dog in their care.

We take pride in making sure the animals in our care receive the best treatment and wellness. This goes above and beyond food, shelter, and medical needs. We work with certified trainers to make sure our animals receive training necessary to overcome their fears and behavioral issues and become even better citizens. An average board and train, when necessary, averages $2300-$3500, depending on the dogs needs.

In addition to training expenses, we have many other monthly expenses which keep our organization running. Our veterinary medical expenses average $1700/month. Food for our sanctuary animals/foster animals averages $1000/month. Supplements and supplies for our animals also average $400/month. Monthly prescription medication costs on average $300/month. Electricity to heat/cool the animal houses costs on average $1000/month.

Our goal is not only to bring more volunteers on board to help with day to day operation and care of our animals, but also to recruit foster homes. We have the need to build an additional hotel style boarding facility for dogs in our care. In addition, we would also like to expand our services to farm animals in the near future! By bringing on more volunteers and donors we will be able to provide care for additional animals in need, as well as expand our ability to properly care for the animals in our organization.

Against All Oddz Animal Alliance (AAOAA) Inc's mission is to provide a multi service rescue and sanctuary for animals, with a focus on animals who have nowhere else to go. These animals would be euthanized by the courts, other rescues, or individuals if we didn't step in to help. Using elements of law and more traditional methods of animal rescue, we give these animals a second chance at life. For the animals we rescue who can't be adopted or placed in foster-care, they can live out their lives on our 50-acre sanctuary. In addition to traditional rescue as a means to advance animal welfare, our organization also advocates for animals through our legal advocacy center. We help animals through representation by seeking changes to state law that will better protect them and we help individuals or organizations navigate the court system on issues that involve animal welfare. We are the only rescue in New York State that does legal advocacy work. And we are the only rescue in Western New York who will save animals that have been caught up in the legal system or ones that may be deemed unadoptable and need to live their life at a sanctuary.
